hi, im sort of new to vb.net, but i have created a few VERY basic apps in it in the past.

but im wanting to know a few bits and pieces

1) is it worth looking into visual studio 08(beta??)?? does it offer any advantages over using 05?

2)is it possible to create a program that willautomaticly input information into a webpage??
EG.
i work for an isp in tech support, we get many calls about setting up routers, i figure it would be easy to jsut create a program that will add all the settings straight into the router, obviously excluding username and password, but the program will prompt for the userame and pass then add it to the web page via the program.

is this possible??

thanks

jon

btw i am not asking for the work to be done for me, just really s general yes try looking down this route or no because....

thanks wink2.gif

Hi jonlewi5

I have used vb express 2005 and 2008, not noticed a great deal of difference. However I think it it is best to update where ever possible. Not sure about your other question.

PS watch your spelling. blink.gif
