hey m trying to connect vn.net aplication with oracle
i have a problem in connection string can anybody tell me wat is the connection string for that......i having the following error.....


"TNS: protocol adapter error"

It most likely means that you do have an oracle client installed but that it can't find the database you're asking for.

From the client, do a tnsping to the alias you're using in your connect, to make sure your network / tnsnames is set up correctly.
