Need to convert vb5 to vb.net

There are no programs to convert VB5 to VB.Net, and the built in converter in Visual Studio 2005 that will convert from VB6 to VB.Net will cause you more problems than if you just wrote the application from scratch in VB.Net. So, to convert it to VB.Net either you, or someone you hire, will have to re-create the application from the ground up, with the same functionality, in VB.Net. I know that's probably not the answer you were hoping for, but unfortunately it's the truth.
