Hello everyone,

I'm just starting out in the programming world and have really liked it so far. I'm wondering what brought everyone else into the programming world or what got you first interested in it?

I just enjoyed to create my own programs. And of course it was curiosity.

Well I started out wanting to take over the world, then after a few years I got tired of competing with Martyr2. Now I do it because of the challenge, that and I was put on this planet to write code.

I started to try to make a late life career change.

After 20 years of going to work and having a 50/50 chance of being attacked by junkies, drunks, and psychos - I'd like to do something else.

Because I'm interested in it, and because work want me too.

I've always had an interest in playing with how my computer works, from days back in the mists of time spent playing with autoexec.bat and
config.sys so programming was kind of a natural step. Its taken work showing a real interest in training me which has really helped my focus though,
the existence of a real world project is a big incentive as well.
