questions on servers and web hosting, please help!!!!

im thinking of putting java applets on the web and i have 10mb worth of free web hosting space but i'd like somewhere around 50mb+.
Should i get my own server or pay 30 buck a month and where can i get a cheap server?

Depending on what you are wanting you can a server far cheaper per month that will do things you want. At this point I use bluehost.com and it is only like $6.95/month with the 2 year plan (plus they should do everything you need and more).

There are a lot of hosting providers out there that.

I'd recommend a good search over at WHT (http://webhostingtalk.com), you'll find a lot of feedback threads there.

Yeah, there are millions of hosting companies...some have caps on your data transfers so look closely at the usage and small print!

(thxs Arhineus).... small print that was funny always the small print they dont want you to read that![size=really small]by saying yes to our really long user agreement file your allowing us access to all of your files on our servers ph34r.gif .
