Papervision 3D - Not Working, Problems rendering

D.I.C Head Joined: 10 Jul, 2007 Posts: 164 My Contributions	Hi, I just rescently downloaded Papervision3D and I am excitted to use it. However, when I go to render all I get is errors saying it can't find the QUOTE 1172: Definition org.papervision3d.materials.special could not be found. So I looked in my folder \Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\en\Configuration\Components and I don't see anything there for papervision3D. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I though I just had to install a component. Thanks

New D.I.C Head Joined: 22 Sep, 2008 Posts: 6 Dream Kudos: 100 My Contributions	Hello bmcc81, What you need to do is download the classes associated with papervision3d. You can get this code at http://papervision3d.googlecode.com/files/...ision3D_1_5.zip or if your using the new version http://papervision3d.googlecode.com/files/..._beta_1_src.zip once you have saved one of these zip files to your hard drive you should create a folder to hold all of you addon actionscript classes. Drag the "org" folder from the extracted zip file to that folder and then open flash. To allow flash to recognize this class go to "edit" and then "preferences", go to the catogory actionscript and click actionscript 3 settings. Then add a new path that points to the new folder that you dragged the papervision class into. Hope this helps and good luck with Papervision
