Update - Crystal report (data)

How to update the data in the crystal report? how to refresh the report?

The new records are not seen in the generated report...the crystal report file is called in VB6

before calling the data report just refresh the
connection or requery it

if it will not work for you

hI DEEPA
First add the crstal report to ur project when u do so its prompts a message click ok and continue. Now drag crystal report viewer on the form. crystal report viewer is to be added to to the tool box.its not present by default. and run it.

The thing is i'm just call the crt file smile.gif

Oh which means i need a connection now!

Can you pls tell me how to do the same?

If r able to see report, but nor the updated one, then inside report ie while making report and saving it you should remove the tick mark on "Save Data with Report" which you will find in File options

Use the Crystal Report from the "Components". Then u have to do some coding to display the report. I will post it soon. The report should be created externally using crystal report.
