Just out of curiosity:

Do you listen to music while you work?

I started because the guy I shared an office with loved to play hard house and thats not my scene so I started bringing in headphones so I could at least hear something that didn't make me want to climb the walls

Just pulled the headphones off the read the board, mostly because I need an excuse to take a break from the sound canceling headphones. Sometimes I'll be so involved in somethings I'll forget the tunes. Sometimes it's time for music and block out distraction.

The selection is eclectic. If I'm really working on something and want to focus on it, I'll choose something with no words or words I don't understand. Honestly, if the program is engaging enough, I won't hear anything. Music just makes it easier to get in the zone sometimes.

I work better with my Ipod. We have a radio in my office which I share with someone else, but I need to listen to my podcasts.
