Hi ,
I am new in ruby on rails, I am trying to do the currency conversion using ruby for that I have installed one gem called 'currency'.Any one please help me out and tell how to use it or how to write the code for currency conversion in ruby.Please reply asap.Waiting for your reply. Thankyou.

Well I would take the long road and write a different method for a different currency. That way you can just do a simple calculation using what the user inputted, get currency and then that method will divide the inputted number by the exchange rate (although this way you would have to find the exchange rate out manually).

However I don't know of the gem currency, sorry this isn't exactly what you were looking for.

My method is long and not entirely professional but it will work.
