Hi guys.

Need some help with the environmental settings.When I compile programs it cannot read the class files.My environmental for jre is set.Do I need to set anything else.
Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming you are on a Windows machine, you can set this by right clicking My Computer, select properties. Then on the next dialog box, you want to select the Advanced tab across the top. Then locate the "Environment Variables" button at the bottom of this dialog box. Here you can add the classpath as instructed in your JRE.

As an alternative method, you should be able to pass -classpath followed by the path to your class file. However it's much more convenient to set it up in the environment variables so you don't have to type it every time.
