It's kinda plain and ordinary. Perhaps some use of texturing and colours other than black and white?

You might want to fix that. The picture next to the two textboxes is also gone.

Put some borders around stuff or something because everything seems jumbled up to me.

Also spice it up a little with different text and things, a little bit boring.

Borders would be nice, then instead of lots of links put in a lot of nice congruent screenshots. Maybe randomize them and use them as links to recent topics or announcements by an administrator??
