Hey guys...
I'm curious to know what options I have for Grad school.
I'm currently a junior at a small state school in Oneonta, New York. Here we have a rather small CS program but my professors are great. In my Assembly course, there is 6 kids. In my Intro to Computer Graphics there is 4, and in my Combinatorial Computing course there is 4.
I currently have a 3.6 GPA, double major in Math and CS, I presented a project I worked on last year (related to Phylogeny) at a conference last year (Sophomore year). My professor and adviser tells me I'm the best programmer to come through this school.
Look, I'm not trying to boast/brag/whatever, I have no reason to boost my E-go on DIC. E-go, just made that up haha. I'm just wondering if I have a shot at some serious CS schools, like MIT.
What do schools like MIT look for in students? If its a 4.0 that sucks because thats not happening- I mean, I could, but I don't care to waste my time doing that.
Thanks guys, Frem
