it cannot be done with html alone. You will need to use a server side language such as PHP, in order to save the count.

Since HTML is just a markup language, there isn't any logic to increase a counter variable that you would need.

You need a server-side language so you can save a counter, and increase the counter when a user views the page.

HTML is just used to describe content to a browser, and how it looks. Nothing logical about it. You need a programming language. smile.gif

If you don't want to learn how to create a counter , you can use a service such as: histats.com (easy to use) or Google Analytics ( http://www.google.com/analytics/ ), which is more complex and you cannot place counter on your website.
