Nice skin, I could live with it smile.gif

Here are a few things I would change:
1. Get rid of the magins in the HTML body body{margin: 0px;}. This will allow the content to be right up to the top left portion of the page.
2. Center the content, that will make it look nicer for wider web browser windows.
3. The Navbar (at the top of the page) is missing the right curved portion in IE 7 (don't know about in other browser), so adding that in would help out.
4. Change the curved corners to .pngs with transparent background. Sure they will look a little wierd in IE 6--, but it will look better in the other browsers.

Other than that I think it is good smile.gif

One thing I've learned is that double navigation is normally confusing.

You just want to make sure no one misses out on the archives when they are browsing and only see those 4 main icon'ed links.

It is a little right-heavy. What I mean is everything is balanced except that top nav seems to weight it to the right. The top left is a perfect place for a personal logo or anything if you have one.

Good start , on a site like this alot of the final look comes with how you lay out your text. paragraphs, line height, post headers (if it is a blog) etc... will change how the whole thing looks.

Thanks for the input guys. Tyler, I need some sort of logo I just haven't been able to come up with an idea as of yet, but I'm kind of working on it lol. Beta, the rounded corners aren't images at all, it's all done with CSS and they show up in IE 7 the way they're supposed to. I would do PNG's but that would mean remaking a lot more than I want to right now. As far as centering the page, I'm fighting that right now, it's centered in FF but not in IE so I'm still working on that.

The nav bar doesn't have a right hand curve, in FF it's flush with the edge like I want it but not in IE so I'm looking into that as well. Fucking Microsoft, why cant they just do things like everyone else

Tyler, you could always make me a logo ya know tongue.gif

Microsoft is like the borg but for bad ideas and FireFox is species 8472. Now if you are a nerd, you will know what the star trek voyager analogy means.

hehe Nice site btw. Keep up the good work. icon_up.gif

Well I pout a small logo type thing in the upper right hand corner like you suggested Tyler, and you're right it doesn't look so lopsided now. The logo sucks but I just wanted something there to even out the page.

I know we are probably not going the route of png, but for future reference SuperSleight has really saved my butt in IE6 as far as transparent pngs go. If you use any pngs at all, it's a total must.

I agree with Capty on the double navigation. I'll let you figure it out... hehe.

Otherwise, colors work well, layout is simple and readable! Works for me.

Some of the text (the small light stuff) is very hard to read, like you almost don't see it...

Other than that I think if you were to change the amount of spacing between each of the words (it appears you are using a justify of some sort) it would be shorter, but that may make it feel cluttered, so just think about that, you don't necessarily need to do anything about it.

In all, it looks pretty good smile.gif

Well, I have some questions and remarks.

Why do you have two similar menus in header ? Did you need them ? I think, that with just one will be better.

These gray boxes... I didn't like them. Maybe something more colored and put a little lines, images and etc. Now is very simple.

I think that footer sucks, try something else.

That's all,

Best regards, Tihomil Kulev!

Well tkulev why didn't you just say you hated it, since you had absolutely nothing nice to say about it. When people are like that, I tend to put a lot less weight on their opinions because, well only assholes will trash someone's work as you have done. And since all but one (you) had good things to say about the new look well that just leaves you flapping in the wind all alone. Enjoy your stay smile.gif
