Hello,

I need help, I want to write a program to scruntinise system activity.

For this program, I will like to extract network data from the network card and also data from windows log file.

is this someting that can be donee in Java?, Where are the system logs for Windows stored?

Please help!

Yes, but only in the sense that you can go fishing with a television aerial. You can, but you don't.

Use another language, such as C# .NET to look at the Event Log

What kind of network activity do you have in mind?

Hello!

Thanks for replying. I found C# a lot easier. I have now done the first part!

I want to extract data from data packet header, I hope to use this data to each for malicious data/activity.

Can you help?
