huh?

Norton is installed on th OS, any browser can't avoid it 100%. You will have to remove Norton or change it's settings.

Not true, Anything is possible if you program it right biggrin.gif . I'm not to familier with it but if you just get it to download the source then display it in another standard web browser from your HDD it should work, but to get all the pics you need to edit the source of the page.

An anti virus hooks the windows messaging system. It'll scan every message sent, every request from minimize window to file open/read write.... How are you going to run a process without having the kernel involved?

What is he trying to view that nortan would have a problem??
and if that's the case then, ya you have to change settings in nortan. Put the site in 'Trusted sites' list.

He didn't say "problem", he said affected. I guess it's too general to guess, because by affected I thought he meant "scanned".

actually, i need to get past the stupid school server's blocks. I can't get on any cool sites at my school. I've tried a lot of things. And, as you may guess, i can't edit the settings for the entire district... can i?
