I would suggest looking into the various Actionscript functions, I am pretty sure that there is one out there already that does most of the work for you.

Also, Please don't post duplicate topics, you can ask for them to be moved and a mod will probably do it for you:

DIC has a policy that requires people to post code before we post code, so I would suggest looking into the AS functionality coming up with something basic and posting it asking for more help.

At this point in your project I would say just taking a look around http://adobe.com would be beneficial.

If you do your homework - it will be evident and others will help. Not much spoon feeding in general. wink2.gif

Are you wanting getURL.. go to a webpage?
you need a function to call it. onRelease
getURL("http://www.macromedia.com", "_blank", "POST");

Try google getURL.
Make a button assign some action to it.
