hi, i am a total newbie and i would like to start designing web pages. could anyone suggest what i should learn/practice first? or settle like some guidelines on what i should do, like start with html also do photoshop &flash for design etc., im not really sure what i should do first. please help me, id really love to learn.

start with HTML and CSS get a good grasp of those things then where you go from there will really depend on what kind of things you want to do with your site.

And after you learn HTML & CSS you can start learn Photoshop for designing web templates and how to export your picture into a page.

Or, if you don't have the money to buy photoshop Gimp.org has a photoshop-like program that is for free and works fairly well for creating website designs.

I would also do some simple google searches for things like...

CSS tutorials
Html Tutorials
Basic Html and CSS


There are a lot of good tutorials here and out on other sites.
