I would recommend not assuming that your audience knows what your product does. After watching the first minute of your video I figured it out, but someone who's never seen one of those type of things probably wouldn't have a clue. Also, these types of pranks are played out. I hate to say this since you obviously spent a lot of time and effort on it, but many of us who were tricked by this gag the first time were never tricked again. There were a boatload of these floating around via email about 2-3 years ago and I think that train as sailed. But I may be wrong. Who knows.
Hey
Thanks! The uniqueness about this program - I do believe that it's not like Prank Maze where the user is like playing this game and got this feeling -- okay, something is gonna pop up and go RAARR! The really good thing is that this, the victim could be typing an email- playing a game (maybe solitare), maybe even looking at some uh...well, let's not go there. Or it could be your bratty sister who talks about all about everyone's business typing a love letter to her boyfriend or what not then when they least expect it -- RARRRR! Holy, shit I just shit my self!
It's like being in a Haunted House - it's Dark, it's Scary and the least moment you expect...the boogy man comes out.
I do have to explain to the audience of my program's purpose though. However, right now I'm putting alot of shit on there.
So far I have a quicker fade in and fade out. Also, I just putted in a code that will remember your last seleciton of Lock Down Mode or Stealth mode. I'm in the middle of coding that right now.
So, it's entirely of it's own kind. Everyone have seen those programs that you either listen to music, play a game, or even maybe read some text or Click there and Rarr goes that less scary monster.
Other users suggested some things on the Previous versions of Prankzter but they're too malicious and highly annoying. How woudl you like a pop up message popping up like 500 times or a System Error or Blue Screen of Death. Yeah, I didn't think that would be so nice either. A user sends the program to McAfee or something and then they'll be Branding it as Malware or some shit.
Hope this clearifies anyone's thoughts or opiinions.
