hi
i am using vb6.0 and i want to generate report in my program in such a way

ex

AAAAAA
Description no len br dep qty
c1-c2 2 2 10 10 400
c3-c4 2 2 5 5 100 ....................
BBBBBB
c1-c2 2 2 10 10 400
c3-c4 2 2 5 5 100 ....................
VVVVV
......................
using data report

My Contributions
just add an data environment and in the main pane right click the connections node set the connection property
now
right click
add a command and right click now make a query that you have the data
this will populate the command
now add a data report
click the menu uner window-->tilevertically

now click and drag the command in to the report
align the textbox as per you requirement
that's all the report is generated
