Here's my Data Organization professor. I'm self-respecting but won't ever grow a beard. I'm sure Gabe is self-respecting and he won't ever grow a beard... I think.

The computer industry seems to be far above the average when it comes to facial hair.
I did a quick search, looking for a particular post I'd once seen. Strangely, I found two, two parters. This one forecasts success or failure based on the beard. Hair 1, Hair 2. Of special note, the on Python dev grew a beard subsequent to part one; now that's commitment.
Anotherpair is more of a rogues gallery, with emphasis on the hair.
I half tempted to post a photo; I'm pretty sure I have RMS beat.

But of course - I trust you sport facial hair similar to hagrid?
Edit: One of those links reminded me of an internet game I found once where it showed you a picture of someone and you had to guess whether they were a serial killer/rapist or a famous programmer/technologist; unnervingly, it was fiendishly difficult!
