USB Vendor ID problem

hi,i want to write a driver for a device that i made.i have every software mean to write the deriver i want BUT the problem is all the librarys i have(i write in C#)needs a Vendor ID of a device that i want to write deriver for.and since i made that device myself i dont think there is any Vendor ID.
thank you for any soggestion
its my university project please help

If your device interface is "simple" you might be able to use the
library code you already have. I would try looking at the USB chip
vendor's website to see if you can figure out a compatible device to
yours and use that vendor ID. I would also try "googling" the
vendor IDs you do have in your library along with the USB chip number.

You might get lucky! icon_up.gif

Otherwise you may need to create/duplicate the library code.
